2006 Italian Street Festival

The Italian Street Festival features over 25 different Italian meats, pastas, salads & desserts!   There is live music and dancing, and games for everyone.  The Street Festival takes place in early June (June 11 and 12 for 2010) at the corner of East Street and Stevens Street, here in Indianapolis, each year.  So come and join us as we celebrate our Italian heritage.

Starting at noon on Saturday, the IHSI bocce league's top 16 Spring League teams will compete in a tournament on the courts at Lacy park, which is directly adjacent to the festival grounds. For more information, visit bocce.italianheritage.org

Also, on the Saturday of the festival, there is an early afternoon mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.  Later in the day a colorful, Italian religious procession takes place which is followed by a second mass.  The Catholic Choir of Indianapolis has previously sung for these masses.  In 2008, the Master's Chorale of Indianapolis performed at both masses.
